So, on the subject of ridiculous life achievements, I have managed to acquire an all female assassin's guild in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
The keys are three things:
- remembering the locations of female citizens that you helped
- the willingness to kill off your male recruits (if you have some)
First, on the subject of patience, I looked and looked for chicas. My first 2 recruits actually were female and then it was nothing but a sausage fest afterwards.
At the time, I didn't know about the following trick: certain spots seem to be tied to spawning a female or male citizen to help. So, if you return again and again, you'll continue to find the same gender of recruit.
Even knowing that trick, I learned that apparently the spots either have a max of how many citizens the game will give you, or maybe it's just that the game just decides to switch the spots around every so often.
So, for instance, I found one spot in the northeast corner of the map that would continuously spawn a female citizen, so I'd rescue one, take the underground tunnels elsewhere then come back, then rescue another, and so on.
But after three or so, it stopped spawning a citizen there. Much later on, I was able to find another chica at the same spot, but then I tried to return, and again, there was no one.
And hence the patience aspect. First, you have to be patient in even discovering the spots in the first place, and then you have to be patient in waiting for them to return and/or finding new spots for citizens.
Finally, if you were like me, and had recruited some guys earlier, you have to send them on a mission they can't possibly win.
And again with the patience, because you have to wait for the mission to fail.
And if you were me, you sent a whole bunch of guys to be killed off in a seemingly impossible mission, and then the bastards managed to beat the odds.
So yes, silly things like these are how I choose to spend my free time.
