Since I have nothing else in mind to write about, I'll write about the first hour of Assassin's Creed IV. Which is more like, the hour I spent running around looking for
points d'observation and killing random people.
So far, I'm liking it more than Assassin's Creed 3. 3 was my least favorite of the franchise. 3 often felt tedious to me.
I'm enjoying the mix of French and Spanish. I've been hanging out in Cuba so far, listening to Cuban "natives" speak with a Spain accent. Frankly, I don't know enough history... maybe the Spain accent for that day and age is actually accurate. I tend to think it's more so that they rehired the Spanish dub actors to do the random street chatter. I mean, several of the voices sound pretty familiar to me.
And of course, there's French because I'm playing in French.
I think I'm understanding like 10-20% of the dialogue, so I'm not quite certain what is happening so far, but hey, dems de breaks when you're trying to learn another language. Through gaming.
